The Grading Inspection Section provides inspection services for proposed grading projects located within the unincorporated portions of Orange County.

• To improve the grading inspection process so that the public service is maximized.
• To review all working processes and redesign those that do not optimize public service.
• To insure that regulations provided under the Orange County Grading and Excavation Code are adhered to so that a valid Certificate of Occupancy can be met.
• To provide a courteous and professional service to permitees as well as the general public.
• To insure that grading project files are properly archived and available for future public use and information.
