Building (PME) Plan Check
The Building Building Plancheck Division is responsible for the reviewing building plans for compliance with county building ordinances and applicable state building regulations. The division issues building permits and ancillary permits such as plumbing, mechanical, and electrical.

The Building Permit Services Division also reviews acoustical reports reports for compliance with county land use and noise compatibility standards.

Grading Plan Check
The Grading Plan Check section reviews grading plans and soil engineering and/or engineering geology reports submitted for proposed grading projects located within the unincorporated portions of Orange County. Please reference the DPC Checklist for Minimum Standard Requirements for Grading Plan Check Submittal.

Subdivision
The Subdivision section processes Tentative and Final Subdivision maps, lot line adjustments, and certificates of compliance for the unincorporated area of Orange County. (NOTE: For final maps, lot line adjustments, and certificates of compliance, a separate filing and fee/deposit with the County Surveyor is required).
