Appeal of decisions by the Director, Zoning Administrator, and Planning Commission on discretionary zoning permits
(e.g. site development permit) can be made if filed within 15 calendar days of the decision.
Appeals of decisions by the Subdivision Committee and Planning Commission on subdivision maps (e.g. tentative tract
map) can be made if filed within 10 calendar days of the decision.
If the end of an appeal period falls on a non working day, the appeal period is extended to the next working day.
All appeals are to be filed in the Development Processing Center (DPC) at the public counter during hours of operation
and filing deposits/fees are required to be paid at that time. The appellant should also submit reasons for the appeal
at this time.
All appeals involve public hearings with public notices posted at least 10 days prior to the hearing.
